BUFFET BERNARD: (1928-1999) French Expressionist Painter. Member of the art group ''L´Homme Témoin'', (''The Witness-Man''). A good A.L.S., Bernard Buffet, signed twice, also at the heading, one page, 4to, Paris, n.d., in French. Buffet refers to his recent move from his brother´s apartment to a workshop, stating in part `..I found a workshop, but after only two days I had to return it and again make the full removal. Well.. You do not tell me on your letter what you think about my paintings, tell me as I would like to know..´ Together with Louise Bourgeois (1911-2010) French-American Sculptor and Painter. Signed 5 x 3.5 yellow card ´Louise Bourgeois´, dated `New York, 23rd April 2000´ in her hand. The attractive card bears the printed text ''Help end Hunger'' with printed sketches beneath. VG, 2
