DUMAS ALEXANDRE: Fils (1824-1895) French Author and Dramatist. A.L.S., A. Dumas, two pages, 8vo, Paris, October 1895, to Monsieur Calcanick, in French. Dumas congratulates his correspondent for the birth of twins, and states in part `Ah, by Jove, my dear sir, that is what we call making things properly, and if the two twin girls are as gentle as their elder brother, you will not get bored with this Little family. Continue!...´ With blank integral leaf. Paper with Oriental Page watermark. Accompanied by the original envelope, postmarked and stamped and addressed in Dumas´ hand. Two very small tears to the folding Edge, otherwise G to VG The present letter was written by Dumas only a month before passing away.
