REAGAN RONALD & GORBACHEV MIKHAIL: An excellent colour signed 11 x 14 photograph by Ronald Reagan (1911-2004) American President 1981-89 and by Mikhail Gorbachev (1931- ) Soviet Statesman, General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union 1985-91 and Head of the Soviet Union 1988-91. Nobel Prize winner. The attractive large image shows President Reagan and Head of Soviet Union Gorbachev standing in a three quarter length pose. Individually signed in bold black ink to the lower white border of the image. VG The present photograph was taken in December 1987, during the Washington Summit between President of the United States Reagan and General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union Gorbachev. The most important accomplishment of the Washington Summit was the signing of the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF)
