A rare and attractive L.S., `Jose Marti´, two pages, large folio, New York, 15th April 1892, to Juan Domingo Stoble, in Spanish. The attractive document, bears two printed palms to the left border, and a blind embossed seal of the Cuban Revolutionary party and acknowledges at the base the receipt of ten pesos. The document is signed by Marti in his capacity as delegate and is countersigned by Gonzalo de Quesada as Secretary of the delegation and by Benjamin Guerra as Treasurer. The written text, entitled ''El Club Aguilera'', is a manifesto in favour of Cuban Independence and freedom, and refers to a wealthy Cuban who had to go into exile to Florida, and about to die in misery, he explains to one of his sons what he is legating to him in Cuba, and asks him to create the Club Aguilera in order to support the Cuban Revolutionary Party.
