Accompanied by the original envelope hand addressed by Vanderbilt. Together with the original enclosure, a photocopy of a letter to Gloria Vanderbilt from J. John Mann, Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh, concerning Vanderbilt's son, Carter Cooper, who had committed suicide at the age of 23. Also including Oscar de la Renta (1932-2014) Dominican fashion designer. Ink signature ('Oscar de la Renta') on a printed correspondence card from Harry's Bar in London, further adding his New York address and telephone numbers etc. beneath his signature.
