SIDMOUTH VISCOUNT: (1757-1844) British Prime Minister 1801-04. A.L.S., Henry Addington, one page, 4to, Palace Yard, 14th May 1800, to a gentleman. Sidmouth states that his correspondent's letter was awaiting him on his return to London, further commenting that he agrees that the earliest day possible for a meeting would be the best, adding 'I am very glad that Lord Folkestone is to make his debut on such an occasion' and concluding by remarking that he should be happy to see his correspondent if they wish to speak to him on the subject. With blank integral leaf. VG
