GONNE MAUD: (1866-1953) English-born Irish Revolutionary and Actress. Gonne was W. B. Yeats´ muse, many of his poems are inspired by her. A.L.S., `Maud Gonne´, one page, 4to, Paris, 7th October [1910], in French. The letter bearing at the heading an attractive blue embossed seal showing an open hand with an Irish text beneath. Gonne states `I have received your kind letter before yesterday on my arrival to Paris, and it is with pleasure that I send you..´ Very small creasing to the edges. With extremely small remnants of former mounting to the verso. Folded. G to VG £300-400
