The partially printed document, on the stationery of the Meline Library, is in the form of a memorandum in an unidentified hand, enquiring if Lelewel knows if, within the package sent by Mr. Schletter of Cologne on his behalf, there are no other articles other than the one hundred atlases of the geography of the Middle Ages. Lelewel responds with a brief note in his hand at the foot confirming that there are no more articles. VG
