JOSEF FRANZ: (1895-1957) Archduke of Austria & Prince of Hungary, son of Archduke Joseph August of Austria, the last Palatine of Hungary. A.M.Q.S., Archiduc Fr. The Archduke has penned a brief note, in French, to the page, addressed to 'Cher Maestro et collegue' sending him a thousand thanks and in a seemingly playful way adding a brief musical quotation based on the name of the composer Sibelius, inviting the recipient to 'Prendre joie!'
