GOUNOD CHARLES: (1818-1893) French Composer. A.L.S., ` Ch. Gounod´, one page, 8vo, n.p., Saturday 13th October 1888, to an Abbott is in French. Gounod states `Cher Monsieur l´Abbé, Je vous attendrai chez moi mercredi prochain 17 Octobre à 11h 1/2...´ (Translation: " Dear Abbott, I will be waiting for you at home next wedneday October 17th at 11h30...") With blank integral leaf. Very small stain to the upper left corner, not affecting the text. G
