DEBUSSY CLAUDE: (1862-1918) French composer. A.L.S., Claude Debussy, two pages, written to first and last page allowing full display of the entire letter, 12mo, n.p. [Paris], n.d., to Madame de Romilly, in French. Debussy states `Permettez-moi de vous addresser mes compliments de bon retour et comptez sur moi vendredi prochain…´ (Translation: “Allow me to send you my welcome back compliments and count on me next Friday…”) Accompanied by three typed letters reproducing Madame de Romilly memories of her encounters with Debussy. The present letter was addressed to Madame de Romilly Gérard. A pupil of Debussy.
