BRAZILIAN SPORTING LEGENDS: An attractive national flag of Brazil (measuring 18.5 x 12"; approximately 47 x 31 cm), the Verde e amarela featuring a blue disc depicting a starry sky (which includes the Southern Cross) spanned by a curved band inscribed with the national motto Ordem e Progresso (' Order and Progress') within a yellow rhombus, on a green field, indivdually signed by the Brazilian sporting legends Pele (1940-2022) Brazilain footballer who won three FIFA World Cups, in 1958, 1962 and 1970, and Ayrton Senna (1960-1994) Brazilian motor racing driver, Formula One World Champion 1988, 1990 & 1991. Signed by both with their names alone in bold black inks, Pele with his scarcer full signature ( ´Edson Pele´), and both partially running across a slightly darker area. A wonderful display piece signed by two of the greatest Brazilian sports figures of the 20th century, both of whom were world champions in their sports on three separate occasions. VG
