FALLA MANUEL DE: (1876-1946) Spanish Composer. A.L.S., Manuel de Falla, also signed to the back of the envelope, three pages, 8vo, Granada, 4th August 1922, to Madame Magdeleine Greslé, at St. Jean de Luz, in French. Je vous écris en la regardant...´ (Translation: " Thank God, the earthquake had no bad consequences for us or for anyone. It was very long, however, lasting about seven minutes, and I woke up to the rocking of my bed. It was during the night. The Alhambra Palace did not suffer either, and the Vega, lit by the moon in a truly magical way, is more beautiful than ever. I am writing to you while looking at it...")
