PETRIE WILLIAM: (1853-1942) English eminent Archaeologist and Egyptologist. Also known as Flinders Petrie. A good D.S., `W.M Petrie´, one page, oblong 6 x 4 card, London, n.d., 1894, to W. Delaplaine Scull. The partially printed document being an admission card of the University College, London, to the class of Egyptology, First Term, Session 1894-95. Signed at the base by Petrie as the Professor. The card bears a blind embossed seal of the UCL to the upper left corner. Small overall age wear with small foxing stains, otherwise G £120-200
