Responsa Shaagat Aryeh, by R. Aryeh Leib Ginsburg Rabbi of Metz. Józefów, [1855].
Copy of R. Meir Shapiro of Lublin (1887-1933), dean of the Chachmei Lublin yeshiva and founder of the Daf HaYomi, with his stamp and stamps of the yeshiva library. Lengthy handwritten gloss, signed: "Aryeh Tzvi, yeshiva dean" – R. Aryeh Tzvi Frumer, successor of R. Meir Shapiro as dean of the Chachmei Lublin yeshiva.
[2], 77 leaves. 36 cm. Fair-good condition. Stains and wear. Open tears in several places (large open tear to lower part of title page). Tears and worming, affecting text (with old and new paper repairs). Margins trimmed, affecting text of several leaves. Handwritten inscriptions. New leather binding.
