Tales by David Berglsohn, with illustrations by Lasar Segall, Jewish painter, engraver and sculptor, born in Vilnius.
Berglsohn (1884-1952), Yiddish playwright and author, was executed by Stalin in 1952.
[4], 7-48 pp + [8] illustration plates, 26 cm. First leaves are loose and almost entirely detached. Creases and stains. Some tears at margins of leaves (a tear, reinforced with adhesive tape on the first leaf). Ink-stamp on last page. Pencil inscriptions and a bookplate on front endpapers. Blemishes to spine and to corners of cover.

הרומן "אקסודוס" (Exodus) יצא לאור באנגלית ב-1958 ובשנות השישים הוא תורגם ליידיש על ידי דוד קרפינוביץ ומלך קרפינוביץ. החוברות שלפנינו התפרסמו פעם בשבוע ונמכרו בקיוסקים במחיר 25 אגורות. בחוברות 34-31 נדפסה פרסומת להקרנה הראשונה של הסרט "אקסודוס" ב"היכל התרבות" בתל אביב.
12 חוברות, 18 ס"מ בקירוב. מצב משתנה. מצב כללי בינוני-טוב.
