Two parts in one volume (separate title pages for each part). A comprehensive study on the topic of the priestly garments, by the theologist Johannes Braun (1628-1708). Accompanied by 21 engraved plates (some folded), which describe the various priestly garments. One engraving portrays a woman weaving. [36] leaves, 343, [20] leaves; [1] leaf, 345-752 pages, [30] leaves + [21] engraved plates (some copies exist with a different number of plates). Good condition. Few stains. Creases and slight damages to some plates. Label on the inner side of the front binding and ink inscription. Attractive binding, with gilt adornments to spine.
