Three Silver Amulets - Persia
Three silver amulets. Persia, Kurdistan or the vicinity, [early 20th century].
1. A square amulet with a triangle above it, connected with a hinge.
Silver, soldered and engraved, filigree.
9.5X5.5 cm. Good condition. Stains. Suspension loop.
2. Amulet shaped as a stylized leaf.
Soldered and engraved silver.
Engraved on the amulet: abbreviations of Psalms 121 - "Shir LaMa'a lot" and at its end - "Leah Bat Miriam".
10X7.5 cm. Good condition. Some defects and bends. Lacking a piece of silver thread. Two suspension loops.
3. Amulet shaped as a wavy arch.
Engraved silver.
Engraved on the amulet is the legend "Shiviti" and Psalms 67 shaped as a Menorah. An image of a scorpion, image of a lock and several letters are engraved on the back of the amulet.
6.5X4 cm. Good condition. Scratches. Suspension loop.
