A silver denarius (Zuz), Bar Kokhba Revolt. Obv.: A bunch of grapes surrounded by paleo-Hebrew inscription ש[מ]עון (Shimon). Rev: Two trumpets surrounded by inscription [לח]רות ירושלם (for the freedom of Jerusalem). In the margins of both sides, vestiges of the Latin inscription. 133/4 C.E. 2.7 grams, 18.5 mm, axis 12.
