Sefer Siduro Shel Shabbat, Part II, Kabbalistic and Chasidic Shabbat matters and Halachic responsum. By Rebbe Chaim of Tchernowitz, Mogilev, 1813. First edition.
On title-page ink-stamo of Rebbe "Yitzchak Wertheim of Bender J.W.R.B." and a signature in Russian.
Grandson of Rebbe Aryeh Leib of Bender and brother of Rabbi Moshe Zvi of Savran, whose name was Wertheim as their grandfathers's name, the famous Rabbi Shimshon Wertheimer of Vienna. Son-in-law of Rebbe Yosef of Radiwil. Died in 1911, and three days later, his Beit Midrash set on fire. His book "Be'erot HaMayim" was published by Beit Aharon Ve'Israel Institute (Jerusalem, 1998).
The Rebbes of Bender were related to Ruzhyn and Sadigura dynasties.
12 Leaves; 64 leaves, 19 cm., blue and light green paper. Good-fair condition, moth damages with some damage to text, new fine binding, half-leather.
4 Leaves at the end (conclusion and index) are very rare and do not appear in many copies of the book.
