Collection of "Shana Tovah" Greeting Cards in Various Formats / Romanian Greeting Card from 1885
11 greeting cards with printed "Shana Tovah" greetings, in various formats. Various publishers and places of printing, Romania, Hungary, USA, Germany (?) and Palestine, 1885 to ca. 1939.
Including: a card designed like a bank check – Bacău, Romania, Tishrei 1885; "LeShana Tova Shifskarte" and an additional card with an illustration of a ship (designed like bank checks); two leaves with lithographic color illustrations – "Lebens-Boim" and an additional leaf, printed by the A.L. Monsohn lithographic printing press, Jerusalem; a leaf printed in gold, with English, German, Yiddish and Hebrew greetings; a postcard from Hungary; and additional items.
Size varies. Condition varies, fair to very good.
