AN ILLUMINATED INDIAN QUR’AN, 19TH CENTURY
A 19th-century Indian Qur’an, with richly decorated borders and detailed calligraphy. The manuscript features intricate floral motifs and geometric patterns in vibrant gold, blue, and red. The binding includes a lacquered cover with floral patterns. The text is written in a clear script, framed by exquisite borders that are adorned with gold accents.
