A Rare Proclamation on Behalf of the Irgun, Calling Holocaust Survivors to Fight the British Government - Germany, 1947 - Extremely Rare [the Only Copy in the World?] - Yiddish
A rare proclamation of the Irgun (Etzek) which was printed in Germany in 1947 calling Holocaust survivors to immigrate to the Land of Israel and fight the British government.
The proclamation is unknown, does not appear in libraries in Israel and does not exist in the collection of proclamations of the National Library. An exciting historical discovery!
Unlike the many other proclamations published by the Irgun, this rare proclamation appeals to Holocaust survivors in Europe (and is therefore written in a language they understand - Yiddish). The Irgun calls them to immigrate to the Land of Israel and join the struggle for a Jewish State.
Size: 25x35cm.
Condition: Good. A stain on the lower part of the proclamation. Folding marks.
