Large, Impressive Manuscript – Ein Yisrael (Ein Ya'akov) – Yemen, [the 18th Century?]
An ancient manuscript of the book 'Ein Yisrael' (which is actually the book 'Ein Ya'akov', whose name, due to fear of the censor, was changed to 'Ein Yisrael'). Copied from the Salonika, 1600 edition.
The complete composition. The manuscript with the Berachot tractate, the Zera'im tractate, Yerushalmi Berachot, Shabbat, Eruvin, Pesachim, Yoma, Sukkah, Beitza, Rosh Ha'Shana, Ta'aniyot, Megilah, Moed Katan, Chagiga, Yerushalmi on the Moed tractates. At the end of the volume, a leaf with Aseret Ha'Dibrot is bound.
An additional title page after the preface.
144 [1] leaves. 33 cm.
Condition: relatively good. Prominent moth signs on several leaves, especially on their margins, and on the title page. minor moth signs on the three first leaves.
