Rabbi Yirmiyahu Loewe (1811-1874) was one of the most prominent rabbis of Hungary. He was the grandson of Rabbi Elazar Loewe author of "Shemen Rokeach". He served as the rabbi of Ujhely. Authored the book "Divrei Yirmiyahu" on Maimonides, the Talmud, Talmudic conellae and sermons.
