It is most likely that the novellea has never been printed.
The leaf is written on both its sides. One page is handwritten completely by the Rebbe in brown-black ink. On the second page, the 8 lowest lines were handwritten by the Rebbe. These lines begin with the words: "Question by the genius Rabbi Chaim Berlin".
Rabbi Yehuda Leib Ha'Levi Ashlag (1885-1956) was a Divine Kabbalist who served as a rabbi in Warsaw. He immigrated to the Land of Israel in 1922 and was appointed by Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Ha'Cohen Kook as the rabbi of the Givat Shaul Neighborhood of Jerusalem. In time, a large group of Hassidim gathered around him and he became their Rebbe. He made great efforts to distribute the wisdom of the Kabbala, writing and publishing many books on the subject, the most well-known being "Ha'Sulam" on the Zohar.
He is considered one of the three greatest Kabbalists of his generation.
