Commentary on the Passover Haggadah Handwritten by Rabbi Amor Abitbul, the Close Friend of the "Abir Ya'akov"
A leaf of Torah novellae handwritten by Rabbi Amor Abitbul of Sefrou, Morocco. On one side of the leaf, a Drush on the book of Psalms which was printed in his book "Omer Man". On the reverse side, Divrei Torah on the Passover Haggadah, which have never been printed.
Rabbi Amor Abibul, one of the leading Dayanim of Morocco. Was born in Sefrou in 1782. During the days, he worked as a merchant; during the nights, he studied Torah. His house was known to be open to any guest. He was close to the "Abir Ya'akov", Rabbi Ya'akov Abuhatzeira, who used to stay in Rabbi Abitbul's house when he visited Sefrou.
He wrote commentary and novellae on the Torah, among them: "Shibolei Ha'Oemr" on the Talmud, which he authored when he was only twenty years old, "Minchat Ha'Oemr" – Respinsa, "Omer Ha'Tnufah" – commentary on the Torah, "Omer Man" and more.
