Holocaust Money from the Buchenwald Labor Camp - 2 Vertmark (Blue) - Graded 35 by PMG - 1937-1945
The Buchenwald was a Nazi concentration camp, one of the largest in Germany. It was operative since its establishment in July 1937 until it was released by the Americans on April 11 1945. During this period of time, about 250,000 people passed through the camp, of them, about 65,000 are estimated to have been murdered in the camp including those who died during the Death March before the camp's release.
