MUSIC AND THEATER - ANTONA-TRAVERSI Camillo (1857 - 1934) - Italy – Paris - Autograph letter signed, dated “Paris 17 Nov 1910” by the Italian playwright and librettist. Written during the playwright's stay in Paris (which began in 1907), when he was General Secretary of Gabrielle Réjane's theatre. He agrees to a plan of his correspondent – a Duchess –  to set up  “…una Rivista italo-franco-inglese e tedesca, che si rivolga alla intellettualità forestiera, e serva a sempre più, e meglio, far conoscere e risaltare le bellezze morali e naturali della dolce terra del Petrarca…”. He says he is willing to cooperate, but on condition that he is paid: “…lavorando io per vivere, e vivendo della mia penna…”. 2 pp. In-4.
