Addressed to Carla De Martini (1877 - 1951), wife of the conductor Arturo Toscanini: “…siamo tanto lieti di sapere il maestro a Londra! (…) Si il maestro a tempo una volta per una buona chiacchierrato [sic.], io sono tanto vicino e posso venire ogni momento al Langham. Ho ancora il vecchio biglietto (il “permit”) per le prove.
