OPERA - BRUSON, Renato (Granze 1936)
After studying singing with the soprano Elena Fava Ceriati at the Conservatory of Padua, in 1957 he embarked on his opera career, playing supporting roles alongside the great baritones of the time such as Tito Gobbi (from whom he received much technical advice), Ettore Bastianini and Aldo Protti and Giangiacomo Guelfi, in operas by Bellini, Donizetti, Massenet, Verdi and Puccini. In 1964, he made his debut at the Teatro Biondo in Palermo, in Rossini's La cambiale di matrimonio, then gradually in unforgettable performances, at the RAI in Turin he performed Sergej Prokofiev's Il matrimonio in convento. 1967 was an important year for Bruson's career, when he made his debut at the Teatro Regio in Parma, one of the most sought-after venues in post-war Italy, with one of the most competent and severe audiences in Europe at the time. His singing career spans all the major theatres in Europe and the United States, although since 2012 he has devoted himself more intensively to teaching, holding master classes all over the world. In the same year, he sang for the last time the role of Giorgio Germont in Traviata under the baton of maestro Keri-Lynn Wilson, the opening title of the opera season at the Teatro Verdi in Salerno. In 2013, as a farewell to the stage, he was invited to participate in the celebrations of the bicentenary of Giuseppe Verdi's birth at the Teatro Verdi in Busseto as director and singer in Falstaff, at the venerable age of 77, together with the students of the Accademia della Scala and conducted by Maestro Sebastiano Rolli. 4. Items that remain uncollected may be relocated to storage, and their release will only be initiated upon settlement of the corresponding storage expenses. Should the accumulated storage charges reach a threshold of 50% of the initial Hammer Price paid, or if three months pass from the transfer date, the following actions may be taken at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to re-sell any or all the stored lots without prior notification and in the manner we choose. The proceeds obtained from such resale will then be allocated to offset the incurred storage costs. If there is a surplus amount after settling the costs, the Buyer can request the remaining balance. However, it's important to note that the Buyer will remain responsible for covering any shortfall that may arise. This policy ensures the efficient management of stored items and aids in recovering storage-related expenses while upholding transparency and fairness in our proceedings.
