MUSIC AND THEATER - RIBAUPIERRE Mathilde de (1885 - 1950) - Printed concert program signed - Swiss pianist - She studied piano with Rudolf Ganz and Fraancisco de Lacerda. She was the elder sister of Emile and André-Paul, both violinists, and grew up in an affluent environment that encouraged her musical aspirations. In 1912 she became a piano teacher at the Lausanne Conservatoire, where she disliked the formalism. She left this institution to open classes in Vevey, Montreux, Lausanne and Château d'Oex. Mathilde's school bulletin with autograph signature and lines by Ribaupierre: ”Elite en bonne voie, excellent début” (1947).
