International Hotel (The V.I.P.s) is a 1963 film directed by Anthony Asquith.

Plot

The film is set in Terminal 2 of London Heathrow Airport while flights are delayed due to fog. These delays cause serious difficulties for most of the characters (the VIPs) throwing some of them into a deep personal or financial crisis, in a series of interconnected stories. The central story concerns the famous actress Frances Andros, who tries to leave her husband, the billionaire Paul Andros, for her lover Marc Champselle. Because of the fog, Andros has the opportunity to come to the airport and convince his wife not to leave him. The producer Max Buda must leave London with his new student Gloria Gritti by midnight, or he will have to pay a heavy tax. The Duchess of Brighton must go to Florida for a job that will save her finances. Les Mangrum, an Australian businessman, must go to New York to prevent his business from being sold, while his secretary, Miss Mead, secretly in love with him, decides to ask Andros to advance the money that will save Mangrum's company.
