A PAIR OF CHINESE / JAPANESE BRONZE GU SHAPED BEAKERS, 19TH CENTURY OR EARLIER. Each cast in archaic style with flanges to each section decorated in relief with stylised dragons and lappets on a key fret ground. Part of a mark visible to one base probably reading Xuande. Each mounted on a gilt bronze base with separate gilt liners. 16.5cm tall. (2)
Hole to the base of one beaker. The other beaker base covered by resin or glue.
