Künstlerinfo: französischer Künstler des Fluxus (1926 Sauve bis 1987 Les Eyzies-de-Tayac-Sireuil, Dordogne), 1943 Anschluss an den Widerstand gegen die deutsche Besatzung, Mitglied der Kommunistischen Partei in Frankreich, ging 1946 in die USA, 1946-48 für die Coca-Cola Company, ab 1949 Studium der Wirtschaftswissenschaften an der University of California, 1951 Übersiedlung nach Südkorea, 1954 Umzug nach Ägypten, nach Aufenthalt in Spanien 1959 Rückkehr nach Frankreich, 1963 mit seinem Freund Joachim Pfeufer Entwicklung des Projekts POIPOIDROM, 1972 Teilnahme an der documenta 5 in Kassel, 1978 Ausstellung im Centre Pompidou in Paris, 1980-84 Gastprofessur an der Hamburger Hochschule für Bildende Künste, zog sich 1984 in ein buddhistisches Kloster zurück, Quelle: Wikipedia.
