20. Jh., signiert P. J. Mène, Bronze dunkel patiniert, berittener Jäger mit Dreispitz und Horn, auf naturalistisch gestalteter Plinthe mit Hunden, altersgemäß gut erhalten, H 43 cm. Künstlerinfo: französischer Bildhauer (1810 Paris bis 1879 ebenda), lernte autodidaktisch, war einer der Pioniere in der Tierplastik, seine Werke werden im Louvre in Paris, in Marseille, Rouen und Melbourne ausgestellt. Artist information: French sculptor (1810 Paris - 1879 ibid.), self-taught, was one of the pioneers of animal sculpture, his works are exhibited in the Louvre in Paris, in Marseille, Rouen and Melbourne.
