Silber Helmkanne aus der Familie von Tauentzinum 1735, gepunzt Johann Gottlieb I. Matthes, Berliner Stadtmarke, Tremolierstrich, Silber fein getrieben, innen vergoldet, ovale Grundform, godroniert, zweiteilig verschraubt, schauseitig das fein gravierte Familienwappen mit Orden "Pour le Mérite", welches General Friedrich Bogislav von Tauentzin von Friedrich II. nach der Schlacht bei Mollwitz 1741 erhielt, guter Zustand, H 22,5 cm, G ca. 338 g.
Silver helmet jug from the von Tauentzin familycirca 1735, hallmarked Johann Gottlieb I. Matthes, Berlin city mark, tremolier mark, finely chased silver, gilt interior, oval base, gadrooned, screwed in two parts, the finely engraved family coat of arms with order "Pour le Mérite" on the front, which General Friedrich Bogislav von Tauentzin received from Frederick II after the Battle of Mollwitz in 1741, good condition, h 22.5 cm, g approx. 338 g.
