Смирнов Александр Васильевич (1854-1918) — врач, библиограф, краевед. Учился на медицинском факультете Варшавского и Московского унив., был земским врачом, потом губернским санитарным врачом во Владимире. Напечатал ряд статей и брошюр по санитарным вопросам, принимал деятельное участие в издании «Владимирских Губернских Ведомостей».
