A CHINESE WHITE GLAZED PORCELAIN STEMMED BOWL, KANGXI PERIOD - A Chinese porcelain stemmed bowl, finely moulded in relief with scrolling flowering and fruiting branches, the rounded body raised on a short spreading foot. The elegant monochrome white decoration is enhanced by the softly lustrous glaze, with the floral relief extending across the exterior. The base inscribed with an apocryphal four-character Chenghua mark within a double circle. D.20 cm. H. 10 cm.
