A SYRIAN CARVED AND BONE-INLAID WOODEN TABLE, EARLY 20TH CENTURY - A finely crafted Syrian wooden table, of tall architectural form, richly decorated with intricate carved woodwork and bone inlay. The four tapering legs and structural panels are elaborately carved with scrolling vegetal ornament, geometric borders and pierced arabesque motifs, further enhanced with small bone-inlaid rosettes. The upper and lower sections feature openwork panels with turned wooden elements, while the central shelf is framed by pierced and carved borders and decorated with a circular inlaid medallion. 122 by 46 by 46 cm.
