Um exemplar desta peça vem ilustrada in: Established & Sons, edição 2007, number 2, pág. 16 a 19, onde é descrita da seguinte forma: "Future Systems / Amanda Levete // Chester / 2005 // The Chester sofa's organic form immediately contradicts and questions the traditional sofa shape. Cantilevered and curved with an upholstered seat pad, the Chester is an architectural design that at once reveals the now-famous aesthetic of its celebrated designer. The base is constructed from gloss polyester and has taken inspiration from the subtle angles of car design. // This sofa is often employed as a feature piece, it is intended to be used as a chaise longue or a family sofa and is equally happy freestanding in the center of a room as it is on the periphery."
