Double snuff box in French silver, 18th century. Abundant decoration of neoclassical motifs with elliptical medallions featuring bows, doves, and vegetal motifs, alluding to love. Traces of gilded interior. With French marks in use in 1788 and a faded silversmith's mark. Worn, with scratches and small defects.

Boîte à tabac double en argent français, XVIIIe siècle. Décoration abondante de motifs néoclassiques avec des médaillons elliptiques présentant des nœuds, des colombes et des motifs végétaux, faisant allusion à l'amour. Traces d'intérieur doré. Avec des marques françaises en usage en 1788 et une marque de bijoutier estompée. Usé, avec des rayures et de petits défauts.
