Bonnenberg beer mug, Frankonia Bonn fraternity 1874 - Studentica, colorless glass, unusual tankard, half liter, conical shape, wall with transverse oval lens decoration in high relief, mounted pewter lid, a porcelain plate set into the lid, en face the full coat of arms of the Frankonia fraternity in the finest multi-colored painting, the coat of arms border as a highly oval cartouche based on models from the Baroque, the coat of arms underlaid with crossed Korbschlägern as well as two flags in the colors of the Bonn Franconia and two flags in black-red-gold from below, lid inside with the dedication: Walther Curtius (Flock) s/m. l. Emil Bonnenberg (Latz) z.fr.Erg. Bonn (Frankenzirkel) 1874, altersgemäß gute Erhaltung, H. 15,5 cm Walther Curtius legte am 15. Juli 1873 am Königlichen Gymnasium zu Duisburg seine Abiturprüfung ab, dabei referierte er über ”Goethes Reise nach Italien”. An der Universität Bonn studierte er Philologie.
