Tobacco jar in barrel shape with silver mounts, Germany, 20th century
925 silver (Sterling), hallmarked with crescent moon and crown, silver alloy and maker’s mark of Koch & Bergfeld, Bremen, body composed of finely crafted, vertically laminated wooden staves in classic barrel form, encircled four times with darkened silver bands, flat lid with large spherical wooden knob, traditional design with decorative function, ideal for storing tobacco or similar items, good age-appropriate condition, 18x14 cm (HxD)

925/- Silber (Sterling Silber), gepunzt mit Halbmond und Krone, Feingehalt und Hersteller Koch & Bergfeld, Bremen, Korpus aus fein gearbeiteten, vertikal verleimten Holzelementen in Fassform, vierfach mit geschwärzten Silberreifen umfasst, flacher Deckel mit großem, kugelförmigem Holzknauf, klassische Formgebung mit dekorativer Funktion für Aufbewahrung von Tabak oder ähnlichem, altersgemäß guter Zustand, 18 x 14 cm (HxD)
