topografischer Kupferstecher und Verleger, Sohn des Matthäus Merian (1627 Frankfurt am Main - 1686 Westfriesland), Kupferstich/Papier, um 1654, oben mittig in der Darstellung betitelt "Stättlein Seesen" mit Wappen, unten links Legende, Stadtansicht mit der Burg Sehusa, bäuerliche Staffagefiguren in der umliegenden Landschaft, aus: Topographia und Eigentliche Beschreibung Der Vornembsten Stäte [...] Hertzogthümer Braunschweig und Lüneburg, Mittelbug, altersgemäßer Zustand, Läsuren am Rand und am Mittelbug, Hinterlegungen, insbesondere am Mittelbug, dort ein rechteckiges Fehlstück (2,5 x 1 cm) mit abweichendem Muster ergänzt, unten rechts kleine handschriftliche Anmerkungen mit Bleistift, Darstellung 19,5 x 38,5 cm (HxB), ungerahmt, Gesamtmaß 23 x 39,5 cm (HxB)
