Group of 4 German 800 Silver Condiment Servers
Group of four German 800 silver condiments serving chalices and urns. With putti stems and profuse repousse decoration throughout. Pierced decoration along the bowls of the chalices and along the lids of the urns. The chalices with scalloped glass inserts.
Glass covers; height: 2 1/2 in x diameter: 3 1/2 in. Servers with glasses, without glass; height: 5 1/2 in x diameter: 3 in. Servers with silver top, with top; height: 8 1/4 in x diameter: 2 1/4 in. Gross weight of silver (not including glass inserts): 717.1 grams.
Condition: The items are in good condition with no visible cracks or losses, or major chips. When inspected under UV light, there is no visible sign of restoration. Dust collected to recessed areas; old polish visible, particularly along the interior of the underside. All parts are present. One of the glass bowls of the chalices has a minute chip to the rim; the other glass bowl has a minute chip to the exterior; both glass bowls have adhesive residue along the exterior.
