Petrovichev Petr Ivanovich (1874, the Yaroslavl Region – 1947, Moscow).
Painter, master of lyrical landscape. Member of the Union of Russian Artists. One of the founders of the Society of Realist Artists. He studied at the Rostov Museum of Church Antiquities, MUZhViZ. He was awarded with two small silver medals for sketches and drawing from life, he was awarded with a large silver medal for the painting "March" ("Spring Road"). Since 1898, he took part in exhibitions of the Moscow Society of Art Lovers, the Moscow Association of Artists, the Society for Contemporary Art, the World of Art, the Union of Russian Artists, and exhibitions of Russian art in Berlin and New York. Personal exhibitions of the artist were held in Moscow, Leningrad, Sverdlovsk, Yaroslavl, Kyiv. The works of P.I. Petrovichev are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, in all major regional museums in Russia.
