Karazin Nikolay Nikolaevich (1842-1908)
Russian battle painter. Member of the Academy of Arts. Graph of the academic direction of the end of the 19th century, which illustrated the works of A. S. Pushkin, F. M. Dostoevsky, N.I. Gogol, N.A. Nekrasov, L.N. Tolstoy, many other writers. Also N.N. Karazin created the first artistic postcards in Russia. He was one of the founders of the Society of Russian Watercolorists. More than 50 museums and galleries in our country keep his paintings and drawings, not to mention private collections in Russia and abroad.
