Mikosha Vladislav Vladislavovich (1909 - 2004)
Soviet and Russian photographer, cinematographer, documentary film director, screenwriter. People's Artist of the USSR (1990), laureate of the Stalin Prize (1943, 1949, 1951) and the State Prize of the USSR (1976). Member of the Union of Cinematographers of the USSR. Academician of the Russian Academy of Cinematographic Arts "Nika". From 1924 to 1934, he studied at the State Technical College of Cinematography (later VGIK). From 1931, he worked as a cameraman at Soyuzkinochronika film studios. Filmed the opening of the VSHV, the rescue of Chelyuskintsev, the flights of V. Chkalova and M. Gromova to America. In the period from 1936 to 1940, he collaborated with the newspaper "Izvestia", shooting photo reports. Since 1941 - operator of "Mostehfilm" studios. During the war, he was a front-line operator, a special correspondent of the Pravda newspaper, and wrote a lot for it and other central and front-line newspapers. After the war, he worked at CSDF studios as a cameraman and documentary director.
