Yukin Vladimir Yakovlevich (1920, Mstiora - 2000, Vladimir).
Painter. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1987), People's Artist of Russia (1995), Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (1950), laureate of the State Prizes of the RSFSR (1991) and Russia (1992), has a silver medal of the USSR Academy of Arts (1991). Member and one of the founders of the artistic group "Vladimir School of Landscape Painting". He studied at the Ivanovo Art College (1940) and at the Lvov Art Institute (1948). Participated in most major domestic exhibitions of the second half of the 20th century. The artist's works are in museums and private collections in Russia (the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the State Vladimir-Suzdal Museum-Reserve, 63 regional museums) and many countries of the world.
